Murad Berdyklychev is a senior, majoring in Business and Economics. He joined Investment Club in his freshman year and was previous the VP of Finance, VP of Marketing, and the Head Analyst for the Consumer Retail group.
Upon graduation, Murad will be joining Partners Group as a Private Equity Analyst. Last summer he interned at Nomura within their Sales and Trading division. His previous experience includes internships within Operations at CyberArk, and Business Development at 6AM Health. He is also the Teaching Assistant for Introduction to Finance.
Currently, Murad manages the strategic direction of the club, evaluates Analysts' performance, organizes all career-related events, and oversees week to week operations of the Investment Committee.
Alex is a senior majoring in Economics and Business who will be working as an Equity Trader at Trillium Trading next year.
He joined the club in his first year at Brandeis, starting off as an analyst within the consumer retail industry, before transitioning to head analyst of financials. He has previous experience interning at Trillium as an Equity Trading Intern and at the Greater Sacramento Economic Council as a Research Analyst conducting economic research and analyzing data.
Currently, Alex is the Portfolio Manager for the club and is responsible for managing current club investments and the investment summary process, overseeing the head analysts.
VP of Operations
Sahithi Macharla is a senior majoring in Economics and Applied Mathematics, with a minor in Business. She joined Investment Club in her first year.
Outside of Investment Club, works as both an Analyst Intern in the Brandeis University Office of Investment Management and as a Teaching Assistant for Professor Phillipe Wells. She was the head analyst of the Industrials Group Previously
In her current role, she is responsible for the oversight of all Analysts, the New Analyst Training, development of a new strategic vision for the club, and for the week - to week - functioning of the Investment Committee.
Co-VP of Education
Siddhant Moily is a senior at Brandeis University. He is majoring in Economics and Politics with minors in Business and Mathematics. Currently in his third year in the club, he has rotated across three different sectors. He previously served as the Head analyst in the Energy Sector, where he focused on renewable energy stocks.
Siddhant has completed two summer internships at Deloitte and KPMG. During his most recent internship, he worked in KPMG's structured finance divisions which dealt with GSEs, ratings agencies, investment banks, alternative investment managers and hedge funds amongst others on engagements related to securitized products. On campus, he was a Research Assistant for Dr. Chuck Freilich, a professor at Brandeis' Crown Center and a Middle East expert. Siddhant was also a Teaching Assistant for Statistical Analysis in Economics.
As the VP of Education, he leads the New Analyst Training Program and is responsible for teaching new analysts how to create presentations for stock pitches and build valuation models.
Co-VP of Education
Jeong is a junior majoring in Computer Science and Economics.
He first joined the Investment club in his second year at Brandeis University. Jeong’s primary interests lie in foreign exchange and fixed income markets.Jeong has previously worked as an analyst at Blocore, a VC-firm specializing in blockchain technologies & cryptocurrencies, at their proprietary trading desk. On-campus, he has been serving as a Teaching Assistant for Corporate Finance and Business Fundamentals.
Jeong will be joining Citi as a summer intern after his junior year.Currently, he is responsible for the development of the NATP Program to mentor and integrate new analysts into the Club.
VP of Marketing
Kyra Rivest joined the Investment Club in her freshman year in 2019. As an Analyst in the club, she has experience working in the Energy and Healthcare Industries. She is a Senior studying Computer Science and Applied Mathematics. Her interest is applying these studies in the data science field.
Outside of the Investment Club, she has experience working as a Technology Consulting Intern on the Workday Project with Brandeis University. This past summer she interned at PwC in their Cloud and Digital Practice.
Currently, she is responsible for managing all marketing material for the club including upkeep of social media pages(Linkedin, Facebook, etc.) and the Investment Club Website.
VP of Business Dev
Richard Tian is a senior majoring in Economics and Business and minoring in Math and Philosophy. He joined the Investment Club in his junior year as an Analyst for the Healthcare and Industrials Group.
Richard is completing the five year accelerated BA/MA program at the International Business School, pursing a Masters of Science in Business Analytics. Currently, he has career aspirations working in strategy and data analytics.
In his current role as the VP of Business Development, Richard is responsible for coordinating club sponsorship and raising funds for club use outside of its on-campus events. He is also responsible for coordinating outreach to Brandeis alumni with the goal to offer club member career resources through speaker panels and networking opportunities. He is also excited to take the lead on developing club merchandise.
Dexin Huang is a Senior Year student majoring in Business and Computer Science and is interested in hedge funds and technology. Dexin's tenure in the investment club began in the fall of 2020. He served as a regular analyst for the financials sector and then the head analyst for the defence sector, producing industry reports on stalwart companies such as Lockheed Martin and smaller companies such as Affirm and Axon Enterprise.
During his junior year, he interned for Hite Hedge Asset Management; a hedge fund focused on the energy sector. He developed automated spreadsheets for quicker analysis and conducted an in-depth study of market-neutral opportunities in U.S. SPACs.
Currently, he is responsible for preparing the investment club's budget, oversight of the investment club's financial expenditures, and documentation of all allocations executed.
